Brooks also alleges that Lemon hired a group of criminals to break into her bakery on the night before a major catering gig for a popular rapper’s birthday party. Once inside of the shop, Brooks says the hoodlums smashed all of her eggs.
After exchanging stories, the two women decided it was time to take action. Not long after, they learned that Barry has been enduring similar miseries at his shop, and he also joined the crusade to expose Lemon’s alleged misdeeds.
Lemon declined to comment on the allegations, but his lawyer released the following statement:
“We are extremely disappointed that such malicious accusations have been levied against Mr. Lemon. His name is being unjustly dragged through the mud — as a result of jealousy and deceit. Mr. Lemon has gone through great lengths to restore his reputation after serving time in prison. We look forward to the opportunity to defend and uphold that reputation in the court of law.”
